Australia Day
Well what a lovely Australia Day long weekend we had. The weather was perfect. On Friday (Australia Day) Bren and I went down to Glenbrook for the Australia Day Fair. Every year they have craft stalls and food outlets along with their annual Gnome Display. Here are a couple of cute ones.

I have also been stitching furiously on Stargazer as I am anxious to finish her. I still feel like I have been working forever on the skirt:) I want to get her done soon as I am eager to start stitching my house for the Neighbourhood Round Robin that Carol has kindly organised. I am so excited to start this. I ordered my fabric today and can't wait for it to get here. LOL. I picked 40ct Porcelain form Silkweavers.

Those gnomes are adorable! I have been wanting one for my garden, even though many would view that as tacky. I figure if one were strategically located, it would look cute! Your Stargazer is wonderful to see again - it looks like you are getting close now!!

The gnomes are so cute. Stargazer is coming along nicely. I've heard a lot of people say that her skirt seems to take forever to do.

I just love the gnomes, Happy belated Australia day! Stargazer is coming along beautifully and she looks stunning so far. I am envious of your new sewing machine, I have been thinking of getting a new one but they are so much $$ and I am cheap LOL. Have fun with it!

mmm I posted a comment the other day and it's disappeared.

    THe gnomes are really adorable!

You know I read something in one of the newspapers about a "gnome massacre' in Western Australia! How could anyone!

The guys on Liam's dad's ship stole a gnome from Rose Bay about 25 years ago and took it travelling around the world, sending postcards etc to his owner. They just recently tried to return him but the owners told them to keep him as they had so enjoyed seeing his travels!!

Stargazer is absolutely lovely! I am looking forward to seeing her finished!

I also really like your framed Just Nan freebie. I haven't seen that one yet, where did you find it?

Your beach pictures are gorgeous! Especially while we battle with the snow and cold weather. Hubby and I and DD#3 are going to Maui in April...I can hardly wait to sink my toes into the warm sand!
