Autumn Is here

Well Autumn has finally arrived. In the last week all the trees have finally started to change. It is so beautiful. Autumn is my favourite season.

I have been giving my wrist a rest from stitching as it has been getting a bit sore. I don't want the tendonitis I had once before back so I will rest it a bit more over the next fews days and then start up again:)

Below is a cute little Kookaburra that was in the tree out the front of our home. Also below is a photo of the cottage we will be moving the shop into in the next couple of weeks.

Wow, what great pics! I have to admit, I am such a self-centered New Englander that I forgot that other parts of the world get stunning autumn leaves too! And, the kookaburra - I have a weakness for those! Finally, too, a chance to see your new shop - so cute! Good luck :-) I hope your wrist starts to feel better son!

I love autumn too and those trees are gorgeous! Most of our trees are evergreens - very boring :)

The shop looks lovely - perfect!

Karen, I loved all your wonderful pics that you shared with us! Imagine seeing a kookaburra outside the window! I do hope to visit your part of the world sometime. :D
I will be sure to stop by your sweet little cottage - it's absolutely perfect for a needlework shop.

Oh wow, the cottage is beautiful - it's going to be such an incredible venue when you get it all set up :) And the autumn photos are stunning! I have to admit, I'm going to go autumn leaf clicking with my camera this coming weekend hopefully - in Auckland we only had a few trees that changed colour, so to me being here is sheer bliss in autumn :) And the kookaburra is great - isn't it great to see all the wonderful wildlife Aussie has to offer right on your doorstep (Ok, maybe not ALL of it haha).

Beautiful pictures! Although it was a shock for a moment to see autumn pictures when it's spring here. LOL

What a lovely little building for your shop! I'm sure you will love working from there. :D

Karen, that cottage is just darling! I can't wait to see it in person! We arrive in Sydney on July 29th and leave on the 13th of Aug. When I have our itinerary actually figured out, I'll let you know when we will be in Katoomba. So looking forward to seeing you again!
